Mrs. Graunke
Hello!
My name is Mrs. Graunke (it rhymes with donkey). I teach 11th grade homeroom and high school science at Oregon Connections Academy. Click on the tabs on the top bar to access course resources!

A little about me.. I love science and being a science teacher. My favorite subject to learn about is ecology and how organisms interact with each other. I earned my Masters of Science in Biology studying how human-generated noises impact wildlife, particularly wild birds. I love birdwatching and getting out in nature whenever I can. The photo on the right is me at the Grand Canyon in winter!

I live in Florence, Oregon, with my husband, 2 kids, and our dog. We spend lots of time at the beach and hiking the beautiful trails in our area.

Fun fact: I love traveling and I've been to over 30 countries in my life so far! Ironically, I have never been to Mexico even though I lived most of my life in California, only about 200 miles from the border!
